How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours. ~ Wayne Dyer
So here we are, standing on the planet, back for another day.
Beings of unique {intricate} designs and exclusive knowledge. Flesh and bone snowflakes, for lack of a better term.
Our only true connection to each other is how we collectively experience, and sometimes share, similar faiths, thoughts, fears, emotions, love, dreams, dislikes {my father always told me that hate was not a word} pet peeves, opinions, creative abilities, hair color, eye color, body types, wins and losses. I may have missed a few, you get the idea.
As I’ve aged, a peaceful realization, of sorts, has set in. As Eckhart Tolle shared in one of his tales, “I don’t mind what happens.” Really. I work hard at this so give me a break.
and further more…I can only do {and appreciate} what I’m doing at that moment. No need to upset the biology.
Some of my days are filled with others sharing their life’s journey, with me. At least, the most current experiences. I am actually honored to have a few souls in my life that are very happy, accepting and content in their lives. It doesn’t make me jealous that they’re experiencing the life that they’ve created. It inspires me.
But for some of those that grace my door, life is not always a happy, or secure, place. There is sadness, jealousy and discontent. It’s unfortunate that these really lovely people never feel like they are doing enough, getting enough, making enough or living enough. Many times, it’s someone else’s fault that their lives are turning out this way. Worse yet, they’re continuing to shovel that negative energy out into the universe. Sometimes, on an hourly basis. Not the best plan.

As of late, I have experienced a heart wrenching situation that has effected the lives of a couple of elderly souls, both very close to my heart. Selfish decisions were made, that will shorten their time here, just from the stress alone. Death bed promises were squashed and their lives have been turned upside down. It isn’t the idea of what they lost, it can still be found in a limited capacity, it’s the experience that was created that they will have to live with in their memories, every single day, until their time is done here.
My only response to this is chain of events is…We reap what we sow.
This post was originally planned to celebrate and appreciate the very precious moments in our lives, by paying attention to all of the things that you do attend to, during your waking hours.
Instead…
“Like gravity, karma is so basic we often don’t even notice it.”
